Location based data

Colore Maps editor can be used to display "Quantitative Information" that can be related to a geographic area, administrative unit or any place in the world identifiable by latitude-longitude coordinates.
At this time the editor provides two features
  1. Comparison of "Quantitative Information" for the same level administrative units.
Administrative units are for example the countries of the world or the states of a country.
We refer to these as "Divisions" or "Shapes".
The "Quantitative Information" comparison can be displayed on a map using colors, symbols or charts.
  2. Placing markers on a map, to visualize where and how much of the "Quantitative Information" was recorded.
Visualizing "Qualitative Information" to describe the distribution of the information over a map using isolines will be the major feature in our next release.
Displaying weather maps, or twitter trends are just two examples.

To create "Density Maps" using "Quantitative Information", that is a large number of points that are very close to each other, or overlapping - use the technique described here Plotting Points - Density Map.

To create "Bubble Maps" using "Quantitative Information", that is a large number of points that are very close to each other, or overlapping - use the technique described here Plotting Points - Bubble Map.
